Learning does not have to end when school is out. Netflix lets your children learn in a fun way. There are loads of programs to suit your children’s ages and likes. Here are a few educational and entertaining programs for younger children:
Veggie Tales in the House
This original Netflix series builds on the original Veggie Tales and features the same characters including Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Petunia Rhubarb and Pa Grape. Each episode is a story with “life lessons and inspirational messages .“ This series is suitable for all audiences.
The Magic School Bus
The Magic School Bus is an animated series based on books of the same name. Miss Frizzle has a magic bus that transforms the students and itself into a variety of things including a spaceship, weather mobile, and animals. Each episode provides a learning opportunity for children. Some topics include the human body, the planet, oceans and animals. This series is classified as U.
This series of videos is designed for very young children. The videos introduce nursery rhymes, counting and popular children’s songs.
This award winning British television series stimulates children’s interest in history. Each episode presents an aspect of history in a humorous and often gory way. This series is rated PG.
Monster Math Squad
Lovable monsters solve problems using their math skills. This series is a great way for pre-school children to learn math skills. Monster Math Squad is classed as suitable for all audiences.
Netflix offers many programs for young children and families to enjoy. So if the summer weather is not cooperating or you need a break from the sun, let Netflix entertain and educate the kids while you relax.
